The key to new beginnings
opens up a world of happiness
but the shiny side
always holds secrets

I remember putting the stickers
in that little metal box
and making up a story
to go along with each one
Then, I'd take off her coat,
and hat
and shoes
but leave her socks on
so that her feet didn't get cold
then I'd put a blanket
in the bottom of the box
and set her inside
I'd pull the blanket
up to her chin a
nd kiss her on the head
I'd shut the box
and whisper
"good night Madeline."

and making up a story
to go along with each one
Then, I'd take off her coat,
and hat
and shoes
but leave her socks on
so that her feet didn't get cold
then I'd put a blanket
in the bottom of the box
and set her inside

I'd shut the box
and whisper
"good night Madeline."

This is a little poem/bible excerpt from Secretariat:
Do you give the horse his strength
or cloth his neck with a flowing mane
Do you make him leap like a locust
striking terror with his proud snorting
He paws fiercely
rejoicing in his strength
and charges into the fray
he laughs at fear
afraid of nothing
he does not shy away from the sword
the quiver rattles against his side
along with the flashing spear and lance
in frenzied excitement
he eats up the ground
he cannot stand still
when the trumpet sounds.
Do you give the horse his strength
or cloth his neck with a flowing mane
Do you make him leap like a locust
striking terror with his proud snorting
He paws fiercely
rejoicing in his strength
and charges into the fray
he laughs at fear
afraid of nothing
he does not shy away from the sword
the quiver rattles against his side
along with the flashing spear and lance
in frenzied excitement
he eats up the ground
he cannot stand still
when the trumpet sounds.
