Its the first day of school
and even worse
middle school
the older kids
growl at you
as you walk past
your locker gets jammed
and you are
late
to your first class
your teacher
ends up being mean
your best friend
isn't in
any
of your classes
its a nightmare
I'm so glad
that was a dream
The first day of school
was wonderful
it wasn't
half
as bad as i
thought
it would be

pretended we
wern't there
which was fine
with us
my locker
opened on the

try
not the 5th
which is what
all the 7th graders
say

you get to relax

The waves are
crashing
against the shore
like cannon balls
on a battle field
like raindrops
in a rain storm
like risen hopes
that are doomed to fall

are perfect
they rise
out of the ocean

Today
we are going to
the beach
but its raining
who ever heard
of going to
the beach
while the rain
is pouring down
we will be
driving
for 3 hours
to get there
but when we
get out
of the car
it will be raining

Hillary will be 6
she will wake up in the morning
as if it is Christmas
and jump on my parents bed
saying
TODAY IS MY BIRTHDAY!!
I have
quit a few months left
before I can say
that today is my birthday
and that I am 12
but right now
I am still 11
and my sister will say
I am 6
and today is my
birthday
and everyone will know
that in 2 days
